We are now only open to the general public In August of each year. Opening at 10 am on the 1st Aug, with the last admittance at 4.55 pm and the site closing at 6pm daily up untill 31st Aug. The Pottery is open all year round, for more information please click here then give Russel a ring to make sure he is in.( tickets are not required to visit the pottery )
Entry costs; £4.00 adults, £2.50 children, under 5 free. Groups by prior arangement ( min 10 ) £3.50, guided tours and or activities can be included. Cream tea visits, ( min 10 ) £4.99 including site entry & guided tour - talk. At New Barn Field Centre; Traditional Working Pottery, Bygones Exhibition, Celtic Village, Coffee Shop, Wild flower Meadow, Reptile & Amphibian Sanctuary, Wildlife Pond, Coppice, Permacultre & Forest Garden, Alterative Energy & Eco Centre, Farm Animals, Stunning Views of Dorset from the Nature Trail. Active August. Each year during August a Variety of activities are laid on for the public at no extra charge ! Every day from the 1st to the 31st rangers are on hand to help you and answer your questions. Try pond dipping, chalk carving, mosaic design & making, pit digging, pot throwing, to name just a few. Activities change daily, if there is something you would like to do and cannot find or is not available at that time please ask one of the rangers to help. If there is a group of you we will be happy to give you a talk or a guided tour ( if time allows ), just ask ! Rangers on duty during August 2007, Adam, Matthew & Maybe Richard ( if hes not flying his helicopter? ). |
